It's been a long time since I've driven this road. It was heavily congested and had plenty of residential development back then, I can't imagine it's any better now than it was. However, since I've split up the LA/Orange area the OC section was looking a little empty so I've decided to list this review.

Since it has been a while since I've driven it I can't give a very specific review here. It goes without saying that as a State highway that serves as a cut-through from Orange County to San Bernardino County, Carbon Cyn. gets more than its fair share of traffic. Should you be lucky enough to find it to yourself, however, there is fun to be had here.

With a section running through a narrow canyon, bits of "ridge-running" here and there, and even the occasional hairpin (see map at right), this can offer a nice diversion; especially if you are cutting from the Brea area over towards Chino.

- Back to Orange County

- Back to LA / OC Region

Well, if you live out here it's better than nothing.

A particularly nice bit of curves, but notice all the cross streets.

Right through the heart of "civilization".
