Turnbull Canyon is not long enough (4.3 miles) and too crowded to qualify for a worth driving road except for one thing; it is right in the middle of Los Angeles county. So if you are desperate for a quick run on a curvy road this just might have to suffice.

You can also use this road as a "shortcut" from the 605 fwy. to the 60 fwy. if that is the route you are taking. There are plenty of houses and driveways up here and it is one of the few roads over this range of hills so quite a few other cars as well. However, at the right time of the day this can be a nice diversion from the monotony of the freeway.

The easiest way to find this road, it can be hard without a map, is to take the Bevery Blvd. Exit from the 605 and head east (blue on the map). From the 60 exit Hacienda Blvd. And take it south to Tetley St. west. Tetley turns into Las Lomitas, which turns into Turnbull Cyn. (green on the map)

- Back to Los Angeles

- Back to LA / OC Region

Short and crowded, but the only curvy road for miles around.
