Shoemaker Canyon is a very short road that doesn't really lead anywhere. I suppose if you are in to hiking you would disagree with me, but from a driving point of view there's not much here. On the plus side, there are no driveways or cross streets and almost no traffic so it can be a good place for a quick little run coming to or from Glendora Mountain.

This road is pretty easy to find, in fact headed east on East Fork Rd. it is difficult not to end up here by accident. East Fork curves and dips right at the intersection, so headed east it looks like Shoemaker is the main road. Headed west on East fork Shoemaker is found just past the small "town" and diner.

Because the road doesn't go anywhere except to a locked gate, past which the road is unpaved, there are vary rarely any other vehicles up here. Use caution, however, as there is no center lane line and with the rarity of other vehicles there is usually rocks and dirt to be found in the corners. Just before the eastern end of the road there is a small pullout where you can park and have lunch or just enjoy the view; there is quite a drop from Shoemaker down to the river and East Fork Rd. below.

It's more substantial than it looks on the map, at least to the gate.
