Here you can check for road closure and condition information for each County in the State. Most of the mountain passes are closed in the winter and during rainy months many mountain and canyon roads are subject to closure at any time, and as always be on the lookout for washouts and falling rocks.

Many of the Counties do not have their own road conditions listing and so I have placed a link directly to the appropriate CERES (California Environmental Resources Evaluation System) page. Some Counties have their own detailed pages. Los Angeles County, for example, has a very detailed and informative page.

I have also provided links to Caltrans, U.S. FHA, and National Forests for statewide information as well as links to several weather services. Hopefully these resources will allow you to better plan your next outing.

Click on the section of the State you wish to view and then select the requested County. You can also click on the logo for Statewide Agencies and information.
